Dear Supporter:
To think that one individual can have the drive, commitment and the patience to see not only his school blossom, but also to found and direct for ten years a program dedicated to Peace & Conflict Resolution is one of the most amazing things about Professor Abdul Aziz Said.
The purpose of the Abdul Aziz Said scholarship is to provide financial assistance to "...graduate students from historically underrepresented or marginalized groups who show great promise in their scholastic achievement and/or their commitment to IPCR principles, and who, without funding, might not be financially able to begin or to continue study at SIS."
The scholarship award will be offered to an American University full or part-time student who is pursuing a Masters Degree in International Peace & Conflict Resolution or any of the other Masters Degrees offered within the division of International Peace & Conflict Resolution. The MA Scholar must show strong academic achievement at the graduate level, a record of service, a commitment to the ideals of peace and maintain academic good standing to renew the scholarship.
Donors are requested to send their checks payable to: “American University” and in the memo, indicate that the funds should be designated to the “Abdul Aziz Said Scholarship, SIS.” Donations are fully tax-deductible as American University is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
Donors may send their checks to:
