Biography
Sarah Johnson, PhD SIS ‘02 has returned to the School of International Service. Professor Johnson's research interests include international security, post-conflict reconstruction. Her dissertation, “Displaced Humanity: Power Politics and the International Refugee Movement,” provided a comparative analysis of international responses to migration crises as both security threats and humanitarian events. Dr. Johnson has held consulting positions with the World Bank and worked with American University's Mediation Services.
