PDI's Summer Professional Training Program is one of the first academic programs specifically organized to bridge the two fields of peacebuilding and development. The courses are open to AU students as well as individuals living and working in the field worldwide.

International Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) at American University is a multi-disciplinary program in the School of International Service designed for students and faculty concerned with the causes of war and the conditions for peace.
