Peace and Empowerment Project
The Peace and Empowerment Project (PEP) is a student club devoted to fund raising to improve the situation of women and families in developing and war-torn countries so that they can become greater parts of their local peace process. Past events we have had as a club include bringing speakers to campus, movie nights and discussions, open mic nights at the Davenport, a fair trade market on the quad, and more. This year we are sponsoring a woman in Rwanda through Women for Women International.
